50th Annual Mexican War Streets House & Garden Tour

The Mexican War Streets House & Garden Tour is the oldest and finest house tour in the city of Pittsburgh. During our 50th annual event, held from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 8th, visitors will be treated to a leisurely, self-guided tour of homes and gardens throughout our historic neighborhood on Pittsburgh’s North Side.

Homes on tour represent beautiful restorations and some that offer a glimpse behind the effort that goes into a work-in-progress. Every home is unique and expresses each homeowner’s personal taste and style.

Tickets are on sale now! $18 presale; blocks of 10 or more are $15 per ticket. The event will go on, rain or shine; tickets are nonrefundable.

Advance ticket sales end at 11:59 pm on Saturday, September 7. After that, please purchase tickets at our welcome table at our new headquarters at the corner of Monterey Street and Eloise, close to the YMCA. Day-of tickets are $20 each. We will accept cash and credit cards the day of the tour.

How do I order tickets ahead of time?

Please go to "Number of tickets" and select what you want from the drop-down menu, then leave the "Quantity" field at 1. Then follow the prompts to check out.

What happens when I place my order online?

You will receive a confirmation email and your name will go on our will-call list. The day of the tour, please check in at our welcome table at the midway, near Monterey Street and Eloise. The name of the person who placed the ticket order online will be on our list.

If you have any questions or issues, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@mexicanwarstreets.org. Thank you, and see you at the tour!

Many thanks to our sponsors, especially Allegheny Millwork & Lumber, Eisler Landscapes, and Horn Corp.!
