MWSS Progressive Dinner

from 20.00

The annual Mexican War Streets Progressive Dinner is back on Saturday, February 17, at 6pm, and it's going to be the cat's pajamas!

What is the Progressive Dinner? It's an annual MWSS tradition to help us get out of our houses in the winter and meet our neighbors, both new and old, and involves groups of neighbors having different parts of a meal at different houses.

How it will work this year: We will be meeting at 6pm at a designated spot in the neighborhood for cocktails (stay tuned for more details on where),  then we will divide up into pre-assigned small groups at 7pm. The next stop will be an appetizer/first course house, and the last stop will be an entree/dessert house.

As for the food, all guests bring something to the table--you can bring an appetizer or a dessert, or you can volunteer to make the entree, which is based on a simple recipe we provide. The MWSS provides all the wine. Hosts do not have to contribute any food or drink.

Also, we're trying something new this year: a Roaring 1920s theme! Feel free to pull out your Great Gatsby duds, your feather boas and flapper headbands--but come as you are,  if you like. Find out more details here.

Cost is $20 per MWSS member, $25 per non-member.

Space is limited, so RSVP today!
